Stephane Rolland Spring 2015 Couture was all about fluidity vs structure. The detailing throughout the collection was so precise I could die over perfection! The show opened with a white a-line gown with a shear bottom. There was a crisp white jumpsuit with a cape back and wide metallic belt. That black and white jumpsuit that draped into a bold a black draped bustier top that exploded into a stiff sideways ruffle in the back. Fishtail gowns laden with heavy appliqué ruffles had a familiar. A big heaviness of shear garments found itself throughout the collection some baring models nipples some so shear we could see the models panties. The show wrapped with dramatic gowns that were structured to perfection the white one with the shear train was a OMG moment. The mocha gown with metallic bodice which veered into dramatic ruffles we could totally see on the red carpets of a major award show. With a palette of black, white, mocha and nude the collection couldn't have been better.
