Alexander McQueen spring collection was based on a collection of antique kimonos and very different patterns and prints all inspired from traveling to Japan. The collection had a Japanese cultural vibe with a modern day edge to it consisting of kimonos, cherry blossoms and garb of motifs. jacquards graphic blown up to clusters in peachy pink set against black and vice versa displayed on shouldered dresses, lantern sleeve dresses, stacked at the waist and opened into a short pleated skirt. Wrap dresses with swifty sleeves and square leather strap necklines were shown in pink and black organza. The models wore black mask on their faces which resembled antique custome characters from years ago. We liked this collection very different and unique.
For Chanel Spring 2015 models occupied the chicest of city streets strutting down the 130-meter Chanel Boulevard, its grand extended 25 meters into the Grand Palais. "All different kinds of women, all different kinds,” he said during a preview, different makeup, with hair “hardly groomed streetwalkers." Lagerfeld played to the street style. Some of his women wore long, sober tweed jackets over wide leg pants, others in dark tweeds painted over with bright multicolor spots. There was a pin-striped moment with knee shorts worn with white or army green shirts, and shirtdress over skirts. Chanel seemed to have a new accessory a jacket turned bag worn as a cross bag. The Spring 2015 show for Valentino was about a journey. It was about that girl in a dream vacation! Yet stylish. The inspiration for Valentino Spring 2015, included roundly tailored linen jackets, dresses in Baroque scarf prints and clusters that resembled stained glass, gorgeous gowns for a occasion had seaside, and sea horses and other patterns which we thought we statement pieces; that sillouhette we all hoped and dreamed about. Loved it The color palette for the collection was whimsicle and of soft pastels as rainbow pastels, chevron panels in pink, lavender and pale-green embroidered linen in laser-cut eyelet on dresses and a skirt. We must add Valentino signature silhouette did manage to sneak in a little bit of tweaking that slender cut dress always a statement piece! Jordin Sparks, American Idol Winn and Ex of Jason Derulo was spotted in Times Square. We Bae to say a few days after announcing her split for Jason. She looks rather fabulous. She's wearing a houndstooth circle skirt by Michael Kors, a TopShop lon sleeved crop top. We just can't get I enough of Rita Ora! The versatility is sensational! Rita headed to dinner with ‘The Voice’ judges. The singer wore an all-black Roberto Cavalli look featuring gold detailing giving edge, paired with black cut out booties and Versace Signature ‘Lock’ bag. Gorgeous they are!!! These 3 ladies a attended the Stuart Weitzman cocktail party for the #RockRollRide premiere held in Paris. Miranda Kerr stunned in a Versus Versace Spring 2015 black one sleeve cocktail dress asymmetrical. She paired it with Stuart Weitzman "Nudist" heels. Ciara, singer turn a huge style icon also went with a asymmetrical look in this black and white Anthony Vaccarrelo Spring 2015 look. The gorgeous Rosie Huntington Whiteley arrived to the event in a sexy yet sophisticated manner. She's wearing Autumn 2014 Isabel Marant and paired with the Nudist heel by Stuart Weitzman. Saint Laurent unique, young, rocker girl, sensual. For Spring 2014 consisted of patterned jackets, leather jackets in black and green, shifty dresses or skirt. And short shorts. Good to go in what were, piece by piece, some appealing clothes. This collection was not my top collection to date. I would have like to have seen the brand step more outside the box I've seen this before. Don't get me wrong; I did love some pieces as the jackets. Undeniably a statement pieces!

He loved cross motifs, sheer tops, and leather rocks looks. Spring 2015 he incorporated all of that in the show. He presented corseted leather tops, leather pants some highwaisted, those thigh high open toe boots we love! He showed a softer side with the pastel corseted dresses that bloomed into lace skirts, We almost died at the leather studded dresses. We love the rock n roll edge of th collection. It's different and unique and can be worn anytime in a sane manor. For Giambattista Valli Spring 2015 the brand curated the Sixties lens theme with an Asian twist in my opinion. We loved the ease and languid silhouette of the collection the tunics paired with slim pants. The patterns throughout the collection grabbed my attention the most it was eclectic, and busy but a color palette of ease. I absolutely loved the simpler looks like the white tunic shown over pants a bold color blocking stripe on one leg. |
